Requirements: Degree in music or equivalent musical experience. This includes vocal experiences (e.g. singing alone and in choirs, love for vocal expression), good sense of movement and basics in music theory.

Qualification: Summative assessment. Qualification (Certificate) in early childhood music teaching and learning

Goal: Participants will obtain basic information about learning psychology, developmental psychology, learning theory, and teaching methods. They will practice all materials (songs, chants, movements) for their work with children. All theoretical instruction leads to or will be derived from practical teaching experiences in children classes. A practicum with kindergarten children, seminars and workshops including micro-teaching sessions will alternate. The final goal is to enable the participants to practice early childhood teaching based on a new understanding of teaching and learning music.
